What kind of site this is

An editorial site is what Nzhoopsbets is: informative, about sports and racing betting. Bets are not taken, customer accounts are not held, money is not accepted and no one is introduced to a bookmaker as an intermediary. Forecasts promising a win are not carried.

The frame in New Zealand

Section 74AAA of the Racing Industry Act 2020 makes TAB NZ the only provider that may lawfully offer racing and sports betting to people in New Zealand, since 28 June 2025; TAB and Betcha are its two online brands. The Department of Internal Affairs supervises compliance. Other bookmakers have no New Zealand licence, as none is available. Betting with TAB NZ starts at age 18.

What the content can and cannot promise
